In the summer of 2001 we travelled to Austria to take part in the Austrian national Jamboree-B.open. 62 people went in total with there being 25 Scouts, 18 Ventures, 15 Scout Leaders and 4 Venture Leaders. We travelled on 2 coaches travelling through France, Belgium and Germany. For the first week of the camp all the ventures were on a tour in a place named Keirling. This part of the camp was really good-and not just because they made us drink ridiculous amounts of Beer and Wine!!! For the second week of the camp we were back on the main campsite where things were a little less organised but it was still good-A scout camp with a bar open till 3 o'clock every day!!!!!
