From the 2nd -the 10th of August, 12 of us descended on Leicestershire as part of a mixed unit from all over Scotland. We all had a great camp with both the activities and the night life being well organised. A big thank you to Paul and Louise our subcamp leaders in Egypt who saved our sanity on a few occasions-even if they gave us misguided information on honesty!! There were loads of good bits and no doubt those that were there will remember these bits: Starky in Claire's one peice and baffies, Claire being "dirty", Donna pulling Audi boy (big car!! ;-) ), Us getting Sharkey in trouble before he arrived, Ross on the shock, Sheridan and his English freindly attitude, Clarky "the star" and his scaffold climbing expertise, Mitchell and Bungle not understanding how to sleep, and a host of other daft things. A great week i just wish it had been longer! Whos idea was it to have a Venture camp on an MOD base!!
